Notification of a planned event effecting your institution:
WiscNet is planning a maintenance to enable MPLS on the routers that we just recently upgraded. This will enable our CPN and Healthcare Connect services (Layer 2 Services) to have greater redundancy and no longer rely on static VLAN paths.
All 4 QFXes - Greenwood, Marshfield, Stevens Point and Wausau - will have MPLS enabled. This means that CPN and Healthcare Connect will be impacted during the maintenance window as they are reconfigured for end-to-end MPLS circuits.
Additionally, a Wausau Infinera module that carries our backbone circuit circuit to Green Bay needs an impacting firmware update. We will bedoing this work during the maintenance window as well.
