Thank you for the confirmation regarding the nature of this outage. The NOC will continue to hold our case pending alarms to clear.

Once your service is restored, please advise the NOC.

Regarding your request for ISP traffic information from the last 1-2 months, the NOC does not have access to this information. We will engage our engineering team during business hours tomorrow 02/14 to relay this request and we will keep you apprised of their answer.

Investigating
Greetings,

Beginning today 02/13 at 15:45 CST, the WiscNet NOC received alarms indicating that r-algomasd is unreachable. We have confirmed that we are unable to access the NE at this time.

The NOC has engaged the Algoma SD district office, and has been advised of a suspected hacking attack, which may have resulted in the equipment being disconnected. Please confirm if this is the case, and advise on the current status of this outage.

If no action has been taken to disconnect the gear, please verify L1 to r-algomasd in order to facilitate our further investigation.

The WiscNet NOC will hold pending your response. Please engaged the NOC for furher assistance as needed! Thank you
