WiscNet engineers will be replacing a backbone hub device in Manitowoc at 17:00 CDT on Tuesday, June 30th.
We will be replacing Juniper EX4200 with Juniper QFX5100 which offers increased 10g capacity and capability.
The full maintenance window period is 17:00 to 20:00. Member impact is expected to be from 15 to 30 minutes within the first hours of the maintenance window.
At the same time, an engineer will be working at De Pere to perform some brief 1-5 second maintenance on a subset of interfaces.
This maintenance is being performed earlier in the day due to Covid-19. This allows on-site Engineers to perform work at less risk with ability to travel back home the same day.
We will be taking extra precautions to keep downtime to a minimum.
